CAN ANYONE DO THE ONLINE COURSES OR DO YOU HAVE TO BE A CERTAIN AGE OR SKILL LEVEL? IT SAYS 18+ ON THE SITE.
At the moment the courses we have on the site ARE suitable for anyone 16+ but purchase of the courses must be done by an adult over the age of 18+. The courses are suited to the digital and computer literacy level of someone 16+ with no experience necessary for many of the courses will have on offer.
THERE IS ONLY ONE COURSE ON THE SITE RIGHT NOW, WILL THERE BE MORE COURSES?
Yes! Yes there definitely will be and we are pumped to bring them to you soon. We have a few being developed right now. Sign up to our Newsletter to get notified as soon as they hit the site.
HOW DO YOU DO THE ONLINE COURSES? WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU PAY FOR IT?
You will receive an email with instructions on how to access the content. The content will usually be streamable audio and a downloadable PDF handouts.
DO YOU PROVIDE ANY EQUIPMENT OR SOFTWARE WITH THE COURSE?
No the customer is responsible for their own equipment, internet access and software. We only provide the course materials.
DO THEY WORK ON ALL COMPUTERS? DO I NEED SPECIAL SOFTWARE OR ADD ONS TO BE ABLE TO DO THE COURSE?
Yes our courses work on all computers and No you don’t need anything more than access to the internet, working speakers and the ability to download and print a PDF to do them.
DO I GET A CERTIFICATE AT THE END OF THE COURSE?
For the adult courses – No. For the kids courses – yes.
IF I DO YOUR SUPER. BASIC PODCASTING COURSE WILL I LEARN HOW TO MAKE A PODCAST?
Yes but whether that podcast is any good will be entirely up to you. We make no guarantees about how good you will be just that most people should be able to write, record and release a basic podcast by the end of the Super Basic course. Over the next few months we will upload the Basic Editing courses which will complete the podcasting skills puzzle. We have tried to include enough information in the Super Basic Course so people can get started and actively seek out how to learn to do a basic edit on Garage Band or Audacity.
WHAT ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TAKING THE COURSE?

- Term
1.1 The Commencement date is the date Course Fee payment is received in full and continues for 6 months.
1.2 The ending date is the date 6 months after the commencement date. Access to the Course and Course materials will be deactivated as of this date unless an extension has been purchased.
1.3 Extensions commence the next day after the end date for the previous access period and continue for 6 months at which time access will be deactivated.
- Payments and Fees
2.1 The Student will make payment of the Total Fee to Listen Up Podcasting, via the electronic means provided on the website, in accordance with the Course Fee, less any discounts or promotional codes.
2.2 Listen Up Podcasting accepts payment electronically via Visa or Mastercard only.
2.3 All payments are inclusive of GST.
2.4 Upon payment the Student will receive an email with the information to activate and undertake their Course
- Refunds of Payments
3.1 The Student may request a refund, without question, within 7 days of the commencement date provided the course has not been activated and nothing has been downloaded or streamed during that period.
3.2 No Refunds will be granted after the 7 day cooling off period OR if the Course has been activated and Course content accessed in any way.

A Student’s ‘personal information’ (as that term is defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)) will only be used by Listen Up Podcasting to provide you with the services contemplated by this Contract. Please Read Listen Up Podcasting’s Privacy Policy carefully.
